This Multilane 4X RAID5/JBOD PCI-E 8x controller combines the latest 3Gbits/sec ASIC from Silicon Image and 4-port Multilane connector for connecting up to 4 SATA hard drives externally via a single Infiniband cable.

Using the onboard RAID firmware, the 4 SATA drives attached to this controller can be easily configured as 4 individual ports with no RAID or with RAID 5, RAID 0, RAID 1, RAID 10, RAID 1+S, or JBOD.
SATAI and SATA II compliant.
Fits standard height or low profile PC.
Can be set to operate in non-RAID mode via an onboard jumper.
