The NAS 3.0 is Addonics 3rd generation NAS adapter with up to 30% faster performance and several powerful enhancements. Like its predecessors, the NAS 3.0 adapter is simple to install as a basic USB storage to LAN adapter but also maintains the support of both SMB (Server Message Block) and the open source Samba network protocols, printer server, X-Box media server and Bit-Torrent client.

Any USB storage with NTFS or exFAT File System can now be attached directly to this new NAS adapter. There is no special drive preparation needed. Hard drive with existing data can now be attached to the NAS 3.0 adapter and becomes shareable immediately.
